Power Failure in Desktop System

SOLUTIONS:

                                                                  Fig: SMPS 

1. First you have to check whether your AC power socket will work or not.

2. Check the Power Cord, If failure then replace with new one.

3. Then finally check the SMPS and replace it.

   Procedure for check the SMPS:

    i. Remove the 20 pin Female power connector which is connected with mother board.

    ii. Face the nab to our side. Make the connection by simple wire for the third and fourth holes from right.(Black and Green color wires).

   iii. After that connect the power cable to smps then switch on.

   iv. If the fan in the back side of smps is running then it is proper.

4. Due to failure of power IC in Mother Board then repair or replace your mother board.
